Terms and Conditions

1. – RESERVE PROCEDURE:

After choosing your program to travel with Runa Ñan Travel, we request that you read in detail these proposed terms and conditions, since your reservation is subject to our company policies that are listed below.

A contract is entered into once RUNA ÑAN TRAVEL receives your reservation and deposit form, and then sends our confirmation of your requested reservation.

Please note that the arrangements, travel modifications are not confirmed until indicated in writing by the corresponding area of RUNA ÑAN TRAVEL.

2. – SERVICES INCLUDED:

Your confirmed reservation with RUNA ÑAN TRAVEL may include accommodation, excursions, land transportation and other services agreed upon in your program proposal. Prices do not include 18% IGV, this applies only to Peruvians and foreign residents of Peru, for the exemption of taxes on lodging and hotel meals (Exempted according to D. Leg 919.), foreign tourists must carry and Show your ORIGINAL passport at the time of check in along with your ORIGINAL Andean immigration card, which is delivered and sealed upon arrival in Peru.

3.- SERVICES NOT INCLUDED:

Taxes for departure from national and international airports or visa fees, airport security charges if they are charged by any airport to cover security costs, excess baggage charges, unspecified park tickets, additional nights or expenses during travel due to cancellations of flights or any beverages, bottled water, snacks or meals other than those specified, as well as gratuities, travel insurance of any kind, laundry, telephone calls, reconfirmation of flights and other personal items, special tours, optional excursions or other services that are not specifically specified in the contracted program, RUNA ÑAN TRAVEL Agency is not responsible.

4.- PAYMENTS / DEPOSITS:

After choosing your travel program, in the process of booking Runa Ñan Travel, you are asked to prepay 50% of the total value of the program per person.

This deposit is not refundable in case of cancellation by the client, except in cases of health justified with medical certificate plus a legalized cancellation request document.

Payment must be made through our payment methods and on behalf of RUNA ÑAN TRAVEL S.R.L. Or on behalf of the legal representative MILONIA AEDO CACERES with DNI 45504676. RUNA ÑAN TRAVEL SRL, will assume Peruvian bank taxes and Peruvian bank transfer costs, but all taxes of the country of origin and bank transfer costs will be the responsibility of the client.

5.- CANCELLATION BY US

RUNA ÑAN TRAVEL S.R.L, reserves the right to cancel a program in the event of any of the following circumstances:

Failure of the customer to pay the balance due 45 days prior (Case Fits Pass) and 60 days prior (Case Groups) from the departure date. In this case, the customer will have no right to the refund of the deposit.

Force majeure: Inability to operate the program due to unusual or unforeseen circumstances beyond the control of RUNA ÑAN TRAVEL S.R.L. That is to say. Delays in departures from travel arrangements caused by technical problems, weather, over-booking or closure of a hotel, strikes, and disturbances, decisions of state governments or tourist organizations that alter the itinerary. In such cases, RUNA ÑAN TRAVEL SRL will propose viable solutions to operate the program or comparable travel arrangements. If any of the circumstances listed above occurs during the tour, we reserve the right to modify the programmed itinerary accordingly and no compensation will be paid.

We will make every reasonable effort to provide you with the arrangements for the reserved program, but changes may occur. If they are significant, we will inform you, if possible, before the departure date.

We emphasize again that we will offer comparable alternative arrangements, but all additional expenses will be at the customer’s expense. Please note that RUNA ÑAN TRAVEL SRL will not be responsible for reimbursing any additional expenses incurred by the client in preparation for the tour, including international tickets, train tickets, tourist receipts, hotels, used mileage, the cost of visas, vaccines, among others.

6.- ALTERATIONS REQUESTED BY THE CUSTOMER

If the client asks for any type of modification to the initially confirmed travel arrangements, no commission will be paid unless this modification changes the nature of the program significantly, such as train tickets, air tickets, among others, which are subject + 15%

7.- CANCELLATION BY THE CUSTOMER

In the case of cancellation by the client, this must be informed in writing to Runa Ñan Travel. Please note that the first deposit of the program is non-refundable, the cancellation will only be considered when received by an email. State the reason for the cancellation as it may be covered by your insurance policy.

If cancellation information is received more than 60 days prior to departure, the customer will only forfeit the deposit. For cancellations made within 60 days of departure, the cancellation charges are as follows:

  • From 60 to 31 days before departure will be 50% of the total price of the program.
  • From 30 to 16 days before departure will be 75% of the total price of the program.
  • From 15 days before departure 100% of the total price of the program.

Cancellations received on Friday for departures of a weekend program (Saturday, Sunday and Monday), will be treated as cancellation of departure. We cannot give any subsidy or refund for the entire excursion (for food, lodging, income, tickets, walks, etc.), nor can we refund for lost or lost tickets or documents. There will be no refund for canceled or unused services.

8.- PRICES AND CHARGES

Prices for our programs are based on US dollars and the exchange rates prevailing at the time of booking confirmation. They are subject to variation since occasionally we can face significant increases / decreases in costs due to factors we have no control over. As such, we reserve the right to charge additional fees up to 60 days prior to departure due to increases in tickets, train fares or other transportation costs, taxes, if our government action forces us to do so or other factors.

Any surcharges or price reductions will be explained and justified by Runa Ñan Travel prior to departure, at least 60 days in advance. Any surcharge will not exceed 10% of the price of the specified program.

Runa Ñan Travel, you will not make any refund or reduce any other cost if the value of the US dollar improves with respect to our local currency.

The price of the program is per person in USD, based on the number of participants, type of accommodation, category of hotels and type of services, as agreed at the time of confirmation of the reservation and valid for the number of confirmed participants. If the number of participants decreases, the total price of the program per person will increase, and equally an increase in the number of guests may lead to a decrease.

9.- ACCEPTANCE OF RISK

Some of our itineraries at RUNA ÑAN TRAVEL are designed to expose our participants to the true nature of our environment, and for this reason implies an element of personal risk and exposure, which could result in physical or emotional injuries, paralysis, death or damages to the client, his property or third parties. The client accepts that he knows his physical and health status, and that under his knowledge he decides to carry out the scheduled activities. The client understands that such risks simply cannot be eliminated without compromising the essential qualities of the activity and therefore assumes them as part of the tour.

The customer excludes RUNA ÑAN TRAVEL from any liability related to any accident or injury that may occur associated with the health, fitness or other of the customers.

10.- TRAVEL DOCUMENTS

The responsibility of the traveler is to ensure their proper documentation before carrying out the program. The client must be in possession of a valid passport with a validity of at least 6 months from the date of entry and all visas required for the entire trip. Any information or advice from the company on visas, vaccines, climates, clothing, special equipment, etc. will be given without responsibility on the part of the company.

Liability: The company will not be responsible for any damage or loss if the breach of contract is:

ATTRIBUTABLE TO THE CLIENT, or to a third party not related to the provision of contracted services, and the event is unforeseeable or unavoidable.

The company will make every effort to minimize the effects of matters beyond its control, but can not accept any responsibility for these matters, which include political disputes, border closures, denial of visas, Industrial actions, delayed flights, unpredictable weather, strikes, civil war, riots, natural disasters, government actions, mechanical failures or any act of God, among others. The customer agrees to assume all additional costs arising from any of these factors.

RUNA ÑAN TRAVEL, directly operates part of the services included in our programs, but also makes arrangements with airlines, hotels and others to provide them with travel services. We attempt, with all reasonable measures to ensure that organizations that provide services to our customers maintain our quality standards. However, these parties are independent providers that we do not have direct control of, so Runa Ñan Travel can not accept responsibility for the negligence of the personnel of these organizations.

11.- CLAIMS AND COMPLAINTS

If a customer files a complaint against the company, the customer must first inform the driver of the tour, guide or company representative during the trip so that the guide and / or representative can inform and rectify the matter.

Any other complaints must be in writing to the company within 7 days after the end of the scheduled tour.

The place for all claims, complaints or disputes will be exclusively in the city of Cusco, Peru whose courts, using Peruvian law, will have exclusive jurisdiction. Any liability is limited to the total price paid for the tour. In all cases, the company specifically excludes any liability for indirect, incidental or consequential losses or expenses, including loss of profits.

RUNA ÑAN TRAVEL assumes responsibility for the representations that are made, but not those made by others, any employee of Runa Ñan Travel or any independent travel agent.
