– WHERE LIFE BEGINS –
The APU of the dreams, the medicine and the life of our ancestors, where life is born on the heights of this APU. We do a pilgrimage to this sacred place with much respect and love in order to feel the energy and the medicine of our APUS, which will open their energy channels to us. MAMACOCA, with her sacred medicine and properties, will guide us on our way and we will spend 3 days healing our pains. During these days we will offer the sacred Coca leaves, Tobacco, incense… to APU AUSANGATE and visit the sacred lakes to drink their medicine, thus nourishing ourselves to be reborn.
Day 01: Cusco – Tinki – Pacchanta
We leave Cusco very early in the morning, passing through high Andean communities and stopping a couple of time along the way. After three hours we reach the last community near APU AUSANGATE, this place is at 4300 meters above sea level and a bit cold, but the medicine hot springs located there will keep us warm. After lunch we will make a small offering to ask the great guardians (APUS) of this place for permission to spend time in this special place. We spend the night in a family´s home and we will share the experiences of this small community named Pacchanta.
Day 02: Pacchanta – Ancash Qocha – Otorongo Qocha – Pacchanta
After a hearty breakfast we prepare ourselves for a meditation walk/horseback ride in the direction of several sacred lakes as we approach APU AUSANGATE, Along the way we will be in the Company of MAMACOCA and as we reach to the lagoons, we will do a ceremony with our spiritual Guide for the spirits to the mountains and we will drink the medicine from APU AUSANGATE in the lagoon OTORONGO QOCHA for reborn in the spiritual path in our life.
We wil return to the community of PACCHANTA for our lunch them we will have time for relaxing bath in the hot spring. During the dinner we will share stories and tales from AUSANGATE.
Day 03: Pacchanta – Cusco
On this day Reading with MAMACOCA can be done (optional). Before, breakfast we will enjoy the last bath in the hot springs after which we will get ready to return to the city of Cusco where we will arrive in the afternoon.
